"Ignite children's imagination through books."
"I find television
very educating.
Every time
somebody turns
on the set, I go
into the other room
and read a book."

"There are many
little ways to enlarge
your child's world.
Love of books is the
best of all."

~Jacqueline

"Babies are born
with the instinct to
speak, the way
spiders are born
with the instinct to
spin webs. You
don't need to train
babies to speak;
they just do. But
reading, is different."

Sweetest Day Bookfair
     Barnes & Noble
   October 17, 2009
Rolling Readers and Riviera
Elementary teamed up to
present a fun-filled afternoon.
Story telling, magical moments
with Greg Phillips
and face painting by Phyllis
Clark and Bonnie Daniels all
helped to make for an
entertaining afternoon. We
thank everyone who mentioned
"Rolling Readers" when they
purchased books, supplies and
café items.  A percentage of
those sales will come back to
us. Thanks!

"Helpful Hints for Helping
     Your Young Reader"
       February 11, 2010
 West Melbourne Library
This was our second seminar
aimed at educating young
families on the importance of
reading and sharing tips on how
to encourage reading in the
home.

Does reading at home make a
difference? At 14 weeks old, a
child that has been routinely
read to has an attention span
greater than a kindergarten or
first grade child that has not
been read to on a regular basis.
See how you can make a
difference for your child.
