       One Million Tickets
              Given Out!
The "Get A Disney Day" project
has come to a close, with one
million tickets given to volunteers
across the country. If you have
signed up for a service date past
March 10, your ticket is being held
for you. Once your service is
verified, Disney will send you an
email notifying you it is time to
download your voucher. Thank you
for participating in the program.

This was our second seminar aimed
at educating young families on the
importance of reading and sharing
tips on how to encourage reading in
the home.

Does reading at home make a
difference? At 14 weeks old, a child
that has been routinely read to has
an attention span greater than a
kindergarten or first grade child that
has not been read to on a regular
basis. See how you can make a
difference for your child.

                   Returning Volunteers

School starts August 9, and it won't be long
before we start receiving our requests from
the schools. We are very excited about the
upcoming year, and we hope you are too. We
absolutely can't run our programs without
you. YOU are what makes our programs so
treasured in the community.

To help us organize, please RSVP your status
for the coming year. If you make
arrangements with a teacher before we
contact you, please make sure to notify us.
This information is important for the end of
year book count.
